Rooted in Community, Dedicated to Defense
Greetings. I’m William Elliott, your local attorney dedicated to serving the needs of the Covington community. Unlike big-city lawyers, I’m from the area and invested in the community here—not just setting up shop for a quick buck.
After graduating from Franklin and Marshall with a BA in Political Science in 1985, and earning my JD from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1993, I have garnered over three decades of experience in the field. I joined the State Bar of Illinois in 1993 and became a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Northern District of Georgia in 1995.
For more than 20 years, I have maintained a private practice in Covington, providing legal services to the people of Newton and Rockdale Counties. Being a lawyer and a member of this community, it seemed a natural fit to start my own law firm here. My decade-long tenure as the Newton County Juvenile Court judge has equipped me with valuable insights into youth-related legal issues. This depth of local understanding and an unwavering commitment to justice empower me to serve clients in family law, criminal defense, and juvenile law with tailored legal solutions.
If you’re in need of a local lawyer with valuable credentials and a deep understanding and interest in you and your community, please contact me. I’m ready to defend you and your interests.
